1. What We Collect

We collect information you provide or that is generated through your use of the Service, including: account details (name, email), profile information, resumes and job-related inputs, assessment responses and scorecards, limited device data for abuse prevention (e.g., IP-based rate limiting), and optional profile photos captured during assessments.

2. How We Use Data

We use data to operate and improve the Service, generate AI-powered scorecards, support recruiter-candidate workflows, prevent abuse, communicate with you, and comply with law. Recruiters are notified about a recruiter-led assessment only after you explicitly submit your scorecard.

3. Camera & Microphone

Where enabled, we may request camera access to capture a profile photo and verify presence. We may also encourage microphone-based dictation for text answers, but we do not require nor store audio recordings for assessments; dictated text is captured as normal text input from your device.

4. Encryption & Security

We encrypt personally identifiable information (such as names, emails, resume text, and locations) before storing it. We use industry-standard controls and reputable cloud providers. No method is 100% secure, but we continuously improve safeguards.

5. AI Processing & Data Usage

We use third-party AI providers (such as Google Cloud Vertex AI) to generate insights, scorecards, and career recommendations. Your data is processed to deliver these features.

  • Personalization: If enabled, we use your resume and verified skills to provide tailored advice. You can control this in your settings.
  • Training: We do not use your personal data to train our public AI models unless you explicitly opt-in to help improve TalentProof.
  • No Sale: We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Retention

Draft recruiter-led assessments may be automatically deleted after a period of inactivity. Submitted scorecards and application artifacts are retained for your records and to support recruiter workflows, unless you delete them or request account deletion, subject to legal obligations.

7. Sharing

We share your scorecards with recruiters you choose or submit to, and with service providers (cloud, email, and AI) who support the Service under confidentiality and data processing terms. We do not sell personal data.

8. Your Choices

You can control public/private visibility of scorecards (where available), discard drafts before submitting, and request deletion of certain data. Contact us for data access, correction, or deletion requests.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States or other locations where we and our providers operate and maintain protections consistent with this policy.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy and will post the latest version at talentproof.ai/privacy. Material changes will be highlighted within the Service.
